To participate you will need to submit on Box Mate your score as well as a video to YouTube ,IGTV or TiKTOK or other video things that I never heard of... so that I can check you played fair game. Registration is free (donation welcome)

The CrossFit Open is the largest fitness competition on Earth and an amazing showcase of the community. Starting Fri 11th October, athletes at boxes around the world show up and push themselves further than they ever thought possible over a five-week period. Challenges, PRs, and the unknown await. The atmosphere and achievements are electric.

1000 step up challenge , Raise awareness for PTSD and fund raise for a defibrillator.
I believe no one should go through mental health struggles on their own. Therefore we are all sharing a box with a partner!
Dedicated to Chad Michael Wilkinson of the US Navy who died on October 29, 2018, in Virginia Beach on active duty after 22 years of service. CrossFit Games Director, Dave Castro posted this workout in memory of Chad, who was a friend. Castro said: "A few weeks ago we lost an American hero. A friend of mine and someone I worked with when I was in the Navy. At his funeral his wife mentioned that he did 1000 step ups for time with a 45 pound pack on a 20” box to train for climbing Mt Aconcagua. Tonight I did this workout with @jameshobart @apbozman and @jimi.letchford. We did it as a celebration of his life and to honor his memory. If you are looking for something to do this weekend give this one a go and keep Chad in mind."
From the Navy SEAL Foundation website: "SOCS Chad Michael Wilkinson died by suicide. The Foundation provided immediate tragedy assistance funding, travel and lodging for his family members, flowers and memorial legacy items for the command memorial and reception, as well as a family dinner the evening before the command memorial."

We Remember the 22 Manchester Bees 🖤🐝
Dedicated to the 22 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack at Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017. Also dedicated to those who ran toward danger and saved the lives of 59 others.
The 22 reps power cleans represent the 22 people who lost their lives as well as the day when the terrorist attack happened. The 5 reps burpee muscle-ups and 17 reps box jump overs represent the month and the year.
AMRAP in 22 minute

Modification: Partition the Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, and Squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run.
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, NY, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28, 2005. A United States Navy SEAL officer, Murphy was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. His other posthumous awards include the Silver Star Medal (which was later upgraded to the Medal of Honor) and the Purple Heart.

OCTOBER BREAST CANCER AWARNESS MONTH

ALL WEARING PINK
14 members and their coach gathered before the sweat of those hundreds of burps! The goal was to reveal the challenge only on the day and be as shocking as receiving the terrible news of being diagnosed with BC. the workout was intended to let members go through the mental challenge of fighting the cancer but also the felling of finishing and clearing the challenge.
CHALLENGE 1000 burpees in 100 minutes!
Over 10,000 burpees completed at the box today in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month - fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer 💗💘💪🏼 That’s a lot of sweat and determination for a Sunday morning!
