SMALL GROUP TRAINING

When we say “small group coaching” we really mean it! Our classes are currently capped at 8 per session. This is not a 15 -30 people class where you jump around to get hot and sweaty. Within group class sizes limited to 8 people, we are here to provide you with an affordable alternative to the one-to-one personal trainer format. We aren’t going to sheep hurdle you through the hour on one of those boring bootcamp circuit, we are here to COACH you! We aim for quality movement above anything else. This is about replicating individual coaching in a group environment.

Sometimes joining a group training environment can be overwhelming, especially if you’re totally new to CrossFit. We believe in an organic learning process, through constant variation and we understand that everyone learns at different paces and comes to us with different backgrounds in fitness. We pride ourselves on teaching you the best technique for moving/lifitng efficiently and injury free. We adapt every element of the training session to the need and requirement of each and everyone so that you reach your goals quickly and safely.

Providing small-group, functional-fitness classes, delivered by expert coaches, whether you've never stepped in a gym or you're already a fitness enthusiast, we help our members achieve and exceed their fitness goals. Our current members are investing their time and energy in their fitness and wellness. Training in such a striving environment is an amazing source of inspiration and motivation.



Step 1: Getting yourself started!
A taster workout don’t require any previous weightlifting experience. It is a great way to start at The Hive, meet the coaches and get to discuss with other members. If you prefer meeting one of our coaches for a Free no-sweat intro, please message us your availability and we will be in touch.

Step 2: The monthly membership

Whatever your background, you will start to gain exposure to the mechanics of the movements during the first few weeks. The goal is to develop the consistency of your movement mechanics quality, while following our regular programming with a focus on technique at slightly lower intensity.

Monthly class pack are either 15/month 21/month or 27/ month, and classes cost as low as £5 per session. We run class allowances monthly, not weekly, so you have more flexibility and access to more classes each month. For exemple, taking a week off training for a holiday-week away, will not affect your number of classes during the month as you will be able to do a few more sessions the week after. IS CrossFit Bury EXPENSIVE?

If you are comparing us to other gyms selling you access to their rows of machines, then YES we are!
If you are comparing us to other gyms packing members in like sardines and getting you through random circuit exercises, then YES we are!
But, we are a WORLD APART from those gyms; let us explain.

This means, we will guide your progress, build your strength, work on your weakness, to achieve those personal goals you have, and will make sure your get the best hour of your day with us! Our coaching and training is very personalised and technique-focused.

At The Hive - CrossFit Bury gym you won’t see either rows of “fancy” machines, which most people don’t know how to use - this is not what we sell! Our focus is on COACHING ! Preferably free weights, conditioning and functional fitness - the stripped back look of the gym can be strange at first, however once you taste the benefits of having a mentor to teach you on how to maximise your health and fitness, you will never look back!

PERSONAL TRAINING

We offers 1 to 1 private training for those who rather this format. This is a fast track to achieving your goals. Our coaches will write a bespoke training programme to your goals based on your level and your training frequency. Simply because we are all at different stage or like different things, the 1-1 offer you the ability to tailor your training with a professional coach to guide you the entire time.

Train with a renewed sense of purpose... Feeling excited to get to the gym to do a workout that you know is exactly what you need to be doing. That takes into consideration your experience, age, ability, injuries and time availability.
With a CrossFit Bury Coach in your corner, and your own individualised plan, working hard is the fun part.

option 1 : Block of 10 Personal Training sessions to use across 10 weeks period (LINK)
